Authorities Seek Jeep Driver In Cracking Police Impersonation Case

Authorities in Montgomery County are looking for a driver in hopes of cracking a case of police impersonation.

Video footage shows a white Jeep Cherokee being followed by a dark colored pickup truck while getting off Route 76 west heading north on Henderson Road April 21 at 11:47 p.m., Upper Merion police said.

The pickup truck has a red and blue police light illuminated in the center of its windshield. 

Just north of the intersection, the Jeep pulls over with the pickup truck pulling up along the side of it. After a brief verbal exchange, the pickup truck pulls away. 

The pickup truck driver was not a police officer, and local authorities are seeking the driver of the Jeep Grand Cherokee to help identify the pickup driver.
